MIKE LEWISOHN

Living in Co.Clare, I am surrounded by it’s varied scenery and array of natural surfaces. It has enabled me to photograph and document it’s ever changing landscapes and details.  I wanted to portray the universality of the forms and patterns found in nature. Photographs can often act as starting points for my paintings. I like the way that photography can focus on a specific area to record a detail or aspect that otherwise might get overlooked.
